- EXCLUSIVE from Graeme Bailey
Sources have told HITC football that a host of Premier League clubs are continuing to look at Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah, including West Ham United.
David Moyes’ side will face Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen when the duo meet for an intriguing and mouthwatering Europa League two-legged quarter-final showdown next month.
That will present West Ham with the opportunity to watch Jonathan Tah up close and personal because he is a key member of the unbeaten Bayer Leverkusen backline.
HITC understands that West Ham were present to watch him at the weekend for Germany’s friendly win over France.
The 28-year-old played the entire match and helped keep the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Co quiet.
Jonathan Tah is a player the Hammers have been looking at for the last couple of years, with interest still there after they also watched him in January.

Who could leave West Ham amid interest in Jonathan Tah?
Angelo Ogbonna will be leaving. The 35-year-old moved to the London Stadium in 2015, but his contract is due to expire in the summer.
The Veteran Italian has been a squad player this term and has only played 317 minutes of Premier League football.
HITC also understands the Saudi Pro League have a strong interest in both Kurt Zouma and Nayef Aguerd.
The latter only joined the club during the summer of 2022, but he has struggled for form during his time in East London.
