West Ham United boss Manuel Pellegrini is said to be keen to snap up Nikola Kalinic.

Kalinic reportedly refused to come off the substitutes’ bench during Croatia’s opening match victory over Nigeria.
The AC Milan striker is now set to be told to pack his bags, and that could play into West Ham’s hands.

West Ham would have struggled to complete a deal for Kalinic while the striker was representing his country in Russia.

However, if he is sent home, then he will be free to negotiate with clubs.
Whether West Ham will be put off by Kalinic’s refusal to play off the bench remains to be seen.
But Manuel Pellegrini is known to be looking to increase West Ham’s attacking threat next term, with a striker high up on his list of priorities.
