West Ham United forward Javier Hernandez could be an ideal option for Everton, as they look to improve their striking options.

According to a report in the Telegraph, West Ham United are now open to offers for Javier Hernandez and that should alert Everton to the striker’s potential availability.

West Ham only signed Hernandez last summer, but he has struggled for goals at the London Stadium.

The Mexican forward has not made the impact hoped, with Hernandez netting just four times this campaign.

West Ham are now said to be tempted to cash in on Hernandez this month and Everton should be taking a keen interest in the forward.

Everton may have already signed Cenk Tosun, but Sam Allardyce is still looking for more forward options.

Sam Allardyce is seen arriving at the stadium prior to the Premier League match between Everton and West Ham United at Goodison Park on November 29, 2017 in Liverpool, England.

Hernandez could, therefore, offer a good option to the Toffees – as they look to upgrade their forward line.

There is hope that Tosun will hit the ground running, but he has no experience of the English game.

Hernandez, however, is a proven scorer in England’s top flight and if West Ham are open to selling the 29-year-old, Everton should be at the front of the queue for his signature.
