West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez has two Premier League goals for the club so far.

Slaven Bilic started Hernandez in a wide role during West Ham’s last match against West Bromwich Albion, much to the frustration of many supporters.
Hernandez was unable to get particularly involved at the Hawthorns, as West Ham drew 0-0 last weekend.
But the Mexican striker insists that if he has to play out wide, he will happily perform that role for the team.

“My life doesn’t revolve around goals,” Hernandez said. “I like to play football, I like to be on that pitch, if I play left winger, left midfielder, even left back, centre forward, wherever.
“I like to grow and I like to challenge myself, I like to always push myself to keep on growing, to adapt to any circumstances. I just love to play football.
“It’s all about the group, the player on your left depends on you and you depend on the one on your right, it’s a chain, this is a team sport and you have to be at your best to be able to support your team.”
Bilic has suggested that he has doubts over partnering both Andy Carroll and Hernandez up-front for West Ham.

That means that Hernandez may be forced to play in a wide role more often in the coming weeks.
West Ham’s next match comes against Tottenham Hotspur tomorrow at the London Stadium.
If the Hammers are able to win the contest, Bilic’s side could move up as high as 12th in the Premier League table.
