West Ham United winger Mohammed Kudus has praised Liverpool’s latest recruit this summer as the club continue their rebuild under Arne Slot.
Following Jurgen Klopp’s decision to step down as manager of Liverpool, the Merseyside club settled on Arne Slot as the German’s replacement.
The former Feyenoord manager has yet to make a first team signing at the Reds with sources telling HITC that the club are currently prioritising contract renewals under the Dutchman.
Trent Alexander-Arnold and Virgil Van Dijk are the current priorities for the decisionmakers at the Reds but new signings do not look to be on the horizon.

Kudus keen to praise Liverpool for deal
Despite the club having not completed a single signing this summer, Slot has made one addition and that was to his backroom staff with former Everton defender John Heitinga joining the club.
The Dutch coach spent last season at West Ham United under David Moyes and he was praised by the Scotsman.
It now seems that Mohammed Kudus, speaking to Voetbal Primeur, has become the latest to praise Heitinga.
“I felt very good under Heitinga. He is the best trainer I have had at Ajax,” he said.
“Apart from the training aspect, I also have a very high regard for him in terms of standards and values. Personally, I would have loved to work with him longer. He is a top trainer, and I really appreciated his efforts to make the players better at the time.
“When he took over for the rest of the season, he made an immediate impact. It got better. When we met again, there were immediate things that connected us. He tried to make me and all the other players better. I am very grateful to him for our time at West Ham.”
Liverpool could be getting key addition this summer for free
Not only has Kudus experienced playing under Heitinga at West Ham but the winger also played under the former defender at Ajax.
The Ghanaian spoke so highly of the Dutchman and Heitinga could be the key addition that the Reds have been looking for.
Liverpool finished in third place in the Premier League during Klopp’s final season so the building blocks are certainly there for Slot and if he can extract a few more points out of this team, they could be a force to be reckoned with next season.
