West Ham United forward Javier Hernandez has already struggled for game time this season.

According to The Sunday People (print edition, page 49, Sunday, November 18, 2018), West Ham United are interested in signing Nantes forward Emiliano Sala and his arrival would leave Javier Hernandez having to ask serious questions.
Hernandez has already struggled for game time at West Ham this season, with Manuel Pellegrini often overlooking him.
The £16 million (Guardian) striker has spent most this term on the substitutes’ bench, with Pellegrini picking other options.
And Sala’s arrival would likely knock Hernandez even further down the pecking order at the London Stadium.
Sala would take West Ham in a different direction to Hernandez if he was to arrive.

While Hernandez is small and agile, Sala dominates defenders through his size and power.
The Argentine has 11 goals in 12 games so far this season, which makes him one of the most in-form strikers in the whole of Europe.
And Hernandez must be questioning his future if another striker does arrive at West Ham in January.
