West Ham United have been linked with a move for Bologna left-back Adam Masina.
Masina has been one of the stand out defenders in Serie A over recent seasons, and his form has attracted the attentions of some big clubs.
The Sun have reported how Tottenham Hotspur want Masina, ESPN have suggested Inter Milan want the 24-year-old, and Tuttosport have claimed he is a target of Juventus.
And if West Ham could beat the clutch of Champions League chasing clubs to Masina, it would be a highly impressive piece of business.
West Ham are yet to make a signing in January, but some of their rumoured additions have not exactly shown great ambition.
The likes of Harry Arter and Scott Arfied are solid players, but they are unlikely to set pulses racing at the London Stadium.
Masina, however, is a much higher calibre of player and West Ham would be making a real signal of their intent if they were able to bring in the left-back.
