West Ham United were said to be interested in Michy Batshuayi early on in the transfer window.
With Chelsea set to sign Alvaro Morata for £58 million, according to the Daily Telegraph, now could be the time for West Ham United to reignite their interest in Michy Batshuayi.
However, the Hammers’ attention appears to have turned on to other targets now.

West Ham are set to bring in Javier Hernandez, BBC Sport report, but Slaven Bilic may well want another striker.
West Ham simply didn’t have the attacking power last season to truly trouble the top teams in the Premier League.
But the prospect of having Hernandez and Batshuayi linking up would make them far more of a threat.
At the start of the window Chelsea appeared not to be receptive to offers for Batshuayi.

With Diego Costa’s future uncertain, Batshuayi looked like he could have an opportunity to play at Stamford Bridge.
However, Morata’s impending arrival at Chelsea will knock Batshuayi back down the pecking order.
And West Ham may have more luck if they make Chelsea an offer for the Belgian international now.
