West Ham United were interested in Liverpool’s Danny Ings earlier int he transfer window.
West Ham United should consider re-igniting their interest Danny Ings, as they may now have a chance of signing the Liverpool forward.
Ings was set to stay at Anfield, as Liverpool did not want to release both him and Daniel Sturridge in the same transfer window.
That could make Jurgen Klopp more open to making Ings available for transfer, which may hand West Ham hope again in the race for the 25-year-old.
West Ham made moves to sign Ings prior to the January transfer window, according to the Guardian, but they could not get a deal over the line.
However, West Ham’s need for a striker has now grown, with Andy Carroll, Manuel Lanzini and Marko Arnautovic all ruled out with injury.
And if Sturridges does decide to stay at Liverpool, then David Moyes would be smart to consider making Ings a West Ham player.
