In January, West Ham United were reportedly interested in Sevilla’s striker Wissam Ben Yedder.

West Ham United are in need of a striker and a regular goalscorer to propel them up the Premier League table for next season and potentially win them a domestic cup.
In January, as reported by Football London, Manuel Pellegrini’s side were keen on the services of Sevilla’s hitman Wissam Ben Yedder, but a deal didn’t materialise.
Now, the 28-year-old has stated that he is looking to move on from his current club and take on a bigger and better challenge, as reported by Marca.
Given his seemingly come-and-get-me plea to any top European side out there, West Ham should re-ignite their interest in him because he would do wonders at the London Stadium.
During the recently concluded La Liga campaign, Ben Yedder played 54 games in all competitions for Sevilla, scoring 30 goals and supplying his teammates with 11 assists [transfermarkt].
Ten of those goals came in Europe, so he has showcased that he can prove his worth in Spain’s top-flight and arguably in a more tougher competition in the Europa League.

The Hammers sneaked into the Premier League’s top 10 last season when they beat Watford on the last day of the campaign and they’ll want to better their finish next term.
In Ben Yedder, they would be getting a striker that can lead the line, has the pace and physical presence to play in the Premier League.
Not only that, with the likes of Manuel Lanzini back to full fitness, Anderson having a successful first season at the club. West Ham’s attacking line will start to have a lot of spice to it if you add Ben Yedder’s name into it.
