West Ham United are linked with the Arsenal star.

According to The Daily Mail, Arsenal have offered soon-to-be out of contract Jack Wilshere a new deal – but he will have to take a £20,000-a-week pay cut to stay in North London.
The reported West Ham United target is on around £110,000 at the moment and it remains to be seen if he accepts the new terms of that contract.
If he doesn’t, then surely West Ham should swoop in and offer him the chance to earn what he is earning now.

With Diafra Sakho, Andy Carroll and Javier Hernandez linked with leaving the Irons this month, it looks likely that David Moyes will sell at least one of those and selling one of the latter two would reduce the wage bill in a big way, given their lucrative salaries.
Moyes has repeatedly claimed that he’s after a midfielder with Premier League experience, and Wilshere would be an outstanding addition to the Hammers.

He is a class above the likes of Jonjo Shelvey and Harry Arter, evident by his excellent form for Arsenal as of late, and West Ham should certainly give him that six-figure-a-week salary that he’s already on.
There are injury concerns there, given his history, but he’s been fit for Arsenal all season and perhaps an 18-month deal would safeguard the East Londoners from repeating their mistake with Carroll, for instance.
