Everton are said to be interested in signing West Ham United’s Pedro Obiang for £15 million.

According to The Sun, Everton are set to make a move for West Ham United’s Pedro Obiang this summer, but there is no way that Slaven Bilic should even be contemplating selling the midfielder.

Everton are believed to be lining up a £15 million bid for Obiang, which could reportedly be accepted by Bilic’s side.

West Ham have endured a difficult campaign, and change is definitely needed at the London Stadium. But Obiang’s departure should be unthinkable for West Ham, as he could be so key for them in the future.

The Spaniard appeared to get stronger as the campaign progressed last season, and was one of the Hammers’ better performers.

Obiang only looks set to improve next term, with another year of English football under his belt.

The 25-year-old is blessed with great power and energy, making him a very effective shield in front of West Ham’s defence.

And West Ham should be planning to build their team around him next season, rather than selling him at the first sign of interest.
