West Ham United should consider making a move for Everton’s Kevin Mirallas when the January transfer window opens.
Mirallas has fallen out of favour at Everton, with the Beglian’s future now in considerable doubt.
The 30-year-old wide man has played just two Premier League matches for Everton this season, and he will surely be eager to move on unless he gets more game time between now and the new year.
Mirallas will have one eye on going to the World Cup with Belgium, but without regular football it will be hard to earn a place in Roberto Martinez’s squad.
And West Ham should capitalise on the uncertainty around Mirallas’ future and bring him to the London Stadium.
Slaven Bilic has bemoaned the lack of creativity in West Ham’s side this season, suggesting that Manuel Lanzini is the only play maker in the team.
But Mirallas would certainly offer West Ham another creative outlet, if he was to join.
Although Mirallas is different in style to Lanzini, his pace and dribbling ability makes him a major threat.
And if Everton are open to selling the former Olympiacos man, then West Ham should make sure they are first in the queue for his signature.
