West Ham United are looking to re-shape their squad, with Manuel Pellegrini being appointed earlier today.

Pellegrini was only announced as West Ham’s new manager today, but he is already thinking about re-shaping his squad for next season.
And Fernandes is said to be one of the players who could depart the London Stadium in the near future.
Fernandes struggled in West Ham’s first-team towards the back end of last season, but he could yet develop into an asset for the London side.

The 22-year-old is still very young, and he possesses a skill set that is particularly enviable.
Fernandes is a good athlete, but he is also technically gifted – and has all the tools required to make himself a success in the Premier League in the future.

Bilic said: “I like him. We bought him and he’s very young. He can play everywhere and he has every chance to be special in the future if he changes a little bit, he needs to work more. He has the pace, skill and the strike. He defends very well too. He has every chance.”
And if Fernandes is sold by West Ham and goes to fulfil his potential elsewhere, it could be a decision which Pellegrini lives to regret in future years.
