West Ham United have made a bid for Leeds United winger Raphinha, according to 90min.
90min have reported that West Ham are very keen on signing Brazil international winger Raphinha from Premier League rivals Leeds in the January transfer window.
The Hammers have made a verbal offer of £40 million plus £10 million in add-ons for the 25-year-old, described as a “revelation” by former Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur striker Robbie Keane on Sky Sports Football (16/01/22 at 1:35 pm).
Leeds have rejected that offer, according to the report, which has added that Raphinha is open to a move to West Ham, but he will not push for an exit and is respectful towards the West Yorkshire club.
Raphinha to West Ham now unlikely
In our view, Leeds were always going to turn down any bid for Raphinha in the middle of the season.

After all, Marcelo Bielsa’s side are in danger of getting relegated, and Raphinha is their star player.
So, in our opinion, it does not come as a surprise that West Ham’s huge offer for the Brazilian has been rejected.
Raphinha has scored eight goals and provided two assists in 19 Premier League matches for Leeds so far this season.
