Tottenham Hotspur now face a battle with West Ham United for the signing of Fulham centre back Tosin Adarabioyo in January.
We are expecting to see Tottenham move for at least one more centre back when the window opens.
Tottenham struggled when Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven were missing through suspension and injury respectively.
Van de Ven is still a number of weeks away from a return and Tottenham need to add depth at the back.
A homegrown signing would be ideal and Tottenham seemingly face competition for a long-term target…
West Ham United now interested in Tottenham target Tosin Adarabioyo
90min report that Tottenham are still interested in signing Fulham centre back Tosin Adarabioyo.
Spurs were keen on Adarabioyo over the summer but no deal was done.
Adarabioyo is thought to be high on Tottenham’s January wish list and they will fight for his signature.
It’s now stated that West Ham United admire Adarabioyo and may now join the race themselves.
Lyon, Monaco, Atalanta and Roma are all interested too, meaning Adarabioyo has plenty of options if he wants to move abroad.

Adarabioyo now has multiple options if he wants to stay in London too with Fulham keen to keep him away from Spurs or West Ham.
The 6ft 5in centre back is out of contract at the end of the season and looks likely to leave Craven Cottage.
Reports even indicate that Adarabioyo has already told Fulham that he plans to walk away in 2024.
The problem for Spurs and West Ham here is that the interested clubs outside of England are able to offer pre-contract agreements to Adarabioyo in January.
That may just give them a head start and leave Spurs and West Ham to negotiate with Fulham, who would be left to decide whether to cash in or let Adarabioyo see out his deal.
Hailed as a ‘special’ player by Fulham boss Marco Silva, Adarabioyo’s size and speed make him appealing and West Ham may now push to convince him to pick East London over the North of the capital.
