West Ham United defender Sam Byram’s nightmare move to the London Stadium has been summed up by reports that the Hammers can’t even find a buyer for him now.

Football.London suggest that West Ham have been trying to offload Byram permanently this summer, but they are struggling to find any interested parties.

The Hammers look like having to settle with loaning Byram out, with Nottingham Forest leading the race for the right-back’s signature.

But the fact that West Ham are struggling to find a buyer for Byram rather sums up his struggles since moving to the London Stadium.

When Byram left Leeds United to join West Ham in a £4 million transfer there were plenty of clubs who were keen to buy the defender, who looked like of the standout young talents outside the Premier League.

Byram had racked up over 100 first-team appearances for Leeds, and become a key player at Elland Road.

However, since moving to West Ham, he has badly struggled to hold down a first-team place.

Byram has had difficulties adapting to life in the Premier League, and made just 27 league appearances in the last two seasons.

Byram now reportedly has no club willing to take a chance on him, with suitors only willing to loan him.

And that proves that the pressure will on Byram to prove his worth again, wherever he does end up this summer.
