West Ham United beat Liverpool 3-2 on Sunday afternoon, with Michail Antonio celebrating what was a huge victory for the Hammers.

Few were really giving David Moyes’ men much hope of a win despite their strong form this season. After all, Liverpool have been superb this season.

Liverpool couldn’t deal with West Ham’s counter-attacking or set pieces though, and an Alisson own goal put the hosts ahead.

Trent Alexander-Arnold levelled it up for Liverpool, but Pablo Fornals and Kurt Zouma struck to make it 3-1.

Divock Origi gave Liverpool late hope, but West Ham managed to hang on and claim a huge three points.

The mood around West Ham is frankly joyous, with Moyes now taking his side up to third place in the Premier League table.

With Manchester United, Arsenal, Leicester City and Tottenham all having their own issues this season, West Ham may have very real hope of Champions League qualification.

Michail Antonio is clearly excited, taking to Twitter after the win over Liverpool to state that West Ham are going on an adventure.

Who knows where that adventure takes West Ham.

They’re faring well in the Europa League and could go even further this season. If ever there was a time for West Ham fans to dream, it’s now.
