West Ham United may beat Everton to Ryan Fredericks, but the Toffees could have last laugh

Everton and West Ham United are competing against each other for a number of transfer targets this season.

According to the Daily Mirror (April 12th, page 60), West Ham United are confident of beating Everton to Ryan Fredericks’ signature.

West Ham and Everton had both been competing for the Fulham full-back, but it seems that David Moyes’ side are set to come out on top.

That is good news for West Ham, as Fredericks could be an excellent addition to their side.

But Everton are still going to end up trumping them, according to recent reports.

Football.London claim that Everton are increasingly confident that Wilshere will sign for them in the summer, and turn West Ham down.

And it is hard to make an argument to suggest that Everton are not getting the better of the two deals.

Fredericks may have stood out at Championship level, but he is totally unproven at the top level.

Wilshere, on the other hand, is an England international with a vast amount of experience in the Premier League and across Europe.

And it is unlikely that Everton will feel too bad about missing out on Fredericks to West Ham, if they do land Wilshere ahead of the London side.
