West Ham United are said to be looking to sign Arsenal’s Olivier Giroud this summer.

According to the Independent, there is a real possibility that Arsenal could sell Olivier Giroud this summer.

Arsenal may sell some of their fringe players to fund the contracts they wish to offer Alexis Sanchez and Mesut Ozil.

Giroud is believed to be of interest to a number of teams, but the French international wants to be picky over his next club.

The 30-year-old will only leave Arsenal if he is guaranteed first-team football – and that makes West Ham look like one of his best options.

West Ham are known to have a strong interest in Giroud, are are said to be willing to offer him £100,000 a week (London Evening Standard).

And if Giroud was to join Slaven Bilic’s team, he would surely walk straight into West Ham’s starting line-up.

Giroud has never failed to break into double figures during a Premier League season – something which no West Ham player managed last term.

And if Giroud really does want to be a key player for his next club, then West Ham should be right at the top of his list of clubs to join.
