West Ham United decided to allow Edimilson Fernandes to leave the London Stadium over the summer.

West Ham United midfielder Edimilson Fernandes has continued his fine start out on loan at Fiorentina.
Fernandes was let go by West Ham this summer, with the Italian side agreeing a loan deal, which can be made permanent at the end of the season.
And if Fernandes keeps up his current level of performance, then Fiorentina are likely to be interested in keeping him for the long-term.
Fernandes has gone straight into Fiorentina’s first-team, and helped them to two wins out of two.
The Switzerland international first helped Fiorentina to a 6-1 win over Chievo, before playing 90 minutes in his new side’s 1-0 victory over Udinese.

Fernandes’ good form is made harder to take for West Ham fans, due to their struggles.
Manuel Pellegrini’s midfield options have all been poor during West Ham’s terrible start to the season.
The Hammers have failed to pick up a point from their first four matches of the new campaign.
And West Ham may be regretting Fernandes go, as he could have helped provide the mobility they have been so desperately lacking in midfield.
