West Ham United reportedly rejected the chance to sign Leander Dendoncker.

David Moyes rejected the chance to sign Leander Dendoncker for West Ham United, according to the Telegraph, so if the Belgian is brought to the London Stadium by Manuel Pellegrini then he would have a chance to prove the Hammers’ former boss wrong.
West Ham were linked heavily in the January transfer window, but Moyes opted against bringing the central midfielder in.

West Ham’s interest in Dendoncker has seemingly not ended though, with RMC Sport saying that they are leading the race for the Anderlecht man now.
Whether Pellegrini will be more open to bringing in Dendoncker than his predecessor remains to be seen, but he could be an exciting addition to the Hammers’ squad.

West Ham are known to want additions in central midfield, and Dendoncker would be an intriguing signing.
The 23-year-old has developed a reputation as one of the finest talents in Belgium, and looks likely to make a move to a bigger European league this summer.
