West Ham United are interested in signing Kevin Mbabu with David Moyes keen on adding another right back ahead of the deadline.
That’s according to transfer insider Dean Jones, who has been speaking to Give Me Sport.
Jones claims that Fulham defender Mbabu is one of a number of names under consideration for Moyes.
Fulham surely wouldn’t put up too much of a fight considering they want another right back in Arsenal’s Cedric Soares.
Mbabu only joined Fulham from Wolfsburg over the summer but has started just one Premier League game for the Cottagers.
Mbabu has also made five substitute appearances for Fulham but his total league minutes tally for the season is just 144.
An exit in the coming hours wouldn’t be a huge surprise and West Ham would love another right back.
Vladimir Coufal’s form has been an issue for a while now and David Moyes may look to add another option.

Mbabu came through the ranks with Servette in his native Switzerland and actually went on trial with Manchester United in 2010.
Newcastle United pounced in 2013 though, handing Mbabu a big move to England after just one first-team appearance for Servette.
Mbabu impressed in a shock appearance against Chelsea in 2015 but only played three Premier League games for Newcastle.
A loan spell to Rangers was a disaster as he failed to make even a single appearance for the Gers before heading on loan to Young Boys.
The return to Switzerland became permanent and Mbabu excelled before a 2019 move to Wolfsburg.
Mbabu impressed in Germany and his blistering pace saw the Bundesliga’s official website compare him to Kyle Walker.
Fulham handed Mbabu another shot at Premier League success this past summer but it really hasn’t worked out.
A loan with option to buy could work for all parties here, with 27-year-old Mbabu still hoping to become a Premier League success despite his struggles this term.
