West Ham United want Jhon Duran and are now battling a host of Premier League clubs in the race to sign the Colombian striker.
The Hammers splashed big cash on a new striker over the summer as Gianluca Scamacca arrived from Sassuolo.
We have seen encouraging moments from Scamacca but the goals aren’t flowing at the moment and he really needs better service.
Michail Antonio is still in the mix too but he turns 33 before the end of the season and West Ham need to think about the future.

West Ham United want Jhon Duran
The Sun now claim that West Ham are keen on signing Chicago Fire striker Jhon Duran.
It’s stated that both West Ham and Everton have now made contact to try and sign Duran in January.
Manchester United are thought to be interested in Duran too but West Ham are now pushing to win the race.
Duran would allegedly cost around £10million with the 18-year-old being backed for a huge future.
Chicago Fire coach Ezra Hendrickson has indicated that he thinks Duran can be ‘really, really special’ if he puts his game together.
Duran joined Chicago Fire from Envigado earlier this year, finally arriving in January having agreed to sign a year earlier.
The Colombian has been very promising for Chicago Fire, bagging eight goals and five assists in just 27 games.
There is real excitement building about Duran’s future, especially with Manchester United so keen on luring him to Old Trafford.
Yet with West Ham now asking the question, David Moyes is looking to strike a January blow on his two former clubs.
Duran already has three senior caps to his name with Colombia and Moyes may believe that he can mould the teenager into a superstar.
Winning this race won’t be easy with United involved but with the January window on the horizon, West Ham are trying to strike a deal.
