West Ham United are expected to snap up Joao Mario from Inter Milan in the near future.

If West Ham United do manage to snap up Joao Mario from Inter Milan they will snap up a player who Cristiano Ronaldo once tipped for greatness.
The Portuguese midfielder is expected to join West Ham on loan until the end of the season, with a view to making the transfer permanent in six months’ time.

And West Ham fans should be very interested in what Ronaldo once said about Joao Mario’s talents.
“No one can be the next Cristiano Ronaldo, there are no doubles. The next will be what he has to be, but never the same. That doesn’t happen,” Ronaldo said to Soccer La Duma.
“I see in Europe many young talents, I can mention several: Renato Sanches, Andres Gomes, or Joao Mario.
“I am very happy because these great talents assure that football will always be strong.”
Ronaldo’s recommendation can only be good news for West Ham, as it shows just how important Joao Mario could be to them in the second half of the season.

Joao Mario has arguably not fulfilled his potential just yet, but he could be given the stage to perform at West Ham.
There is no doubting that the 24-year-old is an exciting addition for the Hammers, as David Moyes looks to upgrade his midfield options.
West Ham are yet to make a signing this month, but Joao Mario is not expected to be the only addition Moyes makes before the end of the month.
