West Ham United signed Jordan Hugill from Preston North End in January.

Jordan Hugill of West Ham United looks on prior to the Premier League match between Brighton and Hove Albion and West Ham United at Amex Stadium on February 3, 2018 in Brighton, England.

West Ham United fans have called for Jordan Hugill to be given a chance after the international break.

Hugill was brought to West Ham from Preston North End in the January transfer window, but he has barely been given a chance yet.

Hugill has played just 12 minutes in the Premier League, with David Moyes clearly having reservations over utilising the target-man.

And West Ham fans have urged Moyes to give Hugill a chance in his side’s first-team when the competitive action starts up again.

There was some doubting over whether Hugill would have what it takes to impress for West Ham when he arrived at the London Stadium, but it was anticipated that he would at least be given a chance.

However, Moyes has stuck by his tried and tested players and things haven’t worked out.

West Ham’s form has taken a turn for the worse in recent weeks, with frustrations reaching boiling point in their last match, which finished as a 3-0 defeat to Burnley.

The Hammers have now been dragged right back into the thick of a relegation battle, with their next match coming against Southampton in two weekends’ time.
