West Ham United fans are attempting to get David Gold to reconsider selling Diafra Sakho, by messaging him on social media website Twitter.

According to the Telegraph, Sakho is set to join Crystal Palace in a deal worth £10 million.

West Ham have deemed that Sakho is expendable, after his failure to break into their starting line-up this season.

However, Hammers fans are concerned that Sakho could depart and strengthen one of their relegation rivals.

Sakho has scored four goals across all competitions this season, but he has had to deal with a limited amount of opportunities.

Sakho has not started a Premier League match, and wasn’t even included in Moyes’ match day squad for the Hammers’ last two contests.

Palace are currently one place ahead of West Ham in the Premier League table, with Roy Hodgson’s side sitting in 14th position.

If Sakho does depart West Ham are likely to reinvest the money from the Senegalese international’s sale back into their first-team.
