West Ham United fans are hoping Michail Antonio has taken subtle dig at Marko Arnautovic.

Arnautovic has left West Ham this summer, after suggestions that he wasn’t happy at the London Stadium.

West Ham confirmed that Arnautovic had left the London Stadium this morning, after he once again pushed for a move away.

The £7 million (Daily Mail) winger’s tweet, therefore, seems very well timed as he pointed just how happy he was to be back on a football pitch, and many West Ham fans certainly felt it was a dig at his Austrian teammate.

Arnautovic’s departure could work out for Antonio, as he has been used up-front by Manuel Pellegrini in the past.

West Ham now have an opening up-top, although there is a feeling that Pellegrini’s side will bring in another centre forward to cover for Arnautovic’s departure.

The Guardian have suggested that the Hammers are prepared to pay big money to sign Maxi Gomez from Celta Vigo, and he could be an exciting addition at the London Stadium.
