West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez has been linked with a move away from the London Stadium.
West Ham United fans admit that they can hardly blame Javier Hernandez for wanting out at the London Stadium.
Hernandez’s agent, Eduardo, told FOX Sports that the Mexican striker wants to find a new club.
He said: “There are a number of clubs interested in his services, he’s a player everyone knows and is incredibly professional.
“Our primary focus is a club in which [Chicharito] can play the most games possible. That’s the most important.
“Javier has asked personally for it. He’s commented, stated and demanded that we look for a club that really needs a player with his characteristics because what he wants is to play and play and play.”
While many players would have been criticised for looking to leave, just six months after joining, West Ham fans have been more sympathetic with Hernandez.
Hernandez certainly hasn’t had the amount of opportunities he would have been hoping for since moving to West Ham.
The 29-year-old has made 21 appearances for the Hammers, but he has not always been a permanent starter.
More recently, David Moyes has used Hernandez as a back-up option, with Marko Arnautovic and Manuel Lanzini favoured to him up-front.
However, Hernandez may not get his wish of a move this month.
Both Lanzini and Arnautovic have picked up injuries, which could force Moyes to start picking Hernandez.
