Fulham midfielder Tom Cairney is reportedly wanted by West Ham United in the January transfer window.

West Ham United fans have taken to social networking site Twitter to give their reaction to speculation linking the club with a move for Tom Cairney of Fulham.

According to Sky Sports, Premier League club West Ham are interested in signing Cairney from Championship rivals Fulham in the January transfer window.

It has been reported that the Hammers are prepared to pay as much as £15 million as transfer fee for the 27-year-old midfielder.

The former Hull City and Blackburn Rovers star is also claimed to be willing to move to the London Stadium outfit this month.

According to Sky Sports, Fulham signed Cairney from Blackburn in the summer of 2015 for £3m.

The Scotland international has established himself as one of the best players for the Cottagers and is one of the best midfielders in the Championship.

The Hammers are in danger of getting relegated to the Championship at the end of the season and could do with someone of Cairney’s quality.
