West Ham United were thought to be considering bringing Salomon Rondon to the London Stadium.

Some West Ham United fans have been left frustrated after Salomon Rondon’s comments.
Rondon told The Sun yesterday that he was waiting to move to West Ham, but he never got an offer.
Manuel Pellegrini’s side decided to look elsewhere in their search for a striker, with West Ham settling for Sebastian Haller.
Rondon, meanwhile, went to China to link up with Rafael Benitez again in a £16.5 million move (Daily Mail).
But Rondon has suggested that he would have been open to moving to West Ham.
He said: We never saw a proper offer. I was waiting to see if Pellegrini would call. I never received that call and Rafa was calling me all the time, so I chose to go to China. I can play again in the Premier League one day. I am the kind of striker people like in England.”
Some West Ham fans are now very disappointed that they missed out on Rondon, although there are others that are glad that they didn’t pursue a move for the Venezuelan.
West Ham could still be on the hunt for another striker this summer, as they have let the likes of Andy Carroll and Lucas Perez go this summer.
