West Ham United striker Javier Hernandez has previously suggested he could leave this summer.

West Ham United fans have praised Javier Hernandez after a picture of him in training was published by the club’s official Twitter account.

Hernandez has hinted in Goal that he could look to leave West Ham this summer, but he appears to be applying himself now.

That is in stark contrast with Marko Arnautovic, who is now set to leave West Ham after pushing for a move, as reported by the Daily Mail.

And West Ham fans have praised Hernandez for knuckling down, with many suggesting that he should be kept around now.

Hernandez has arguably been a slight disappointment since he arrived at West Ham two seasons ago.

The Mexican was expected to have a big impact with the Hammers, but he has actually struggled to hold down a place in their first choice starting line-up more recently.

Hernandez could have a role to play at West Ham next term though, if Arnautovic does depart.

Hernandez looks the most likely man to take Arnautovic’s spot currently in the squad at West Ham, although Manuel Pellegrini is thought to be keen to bring in another striker.
