Pedro Obiang has been linked with a move away from West Ham United to join Fiorentina.

The Daily Mirror claim that Fiorentina are interested in signing Obiang, as they feel the midfielder could improve their starting line-up.

The Spaniard has been rather inconsistent so far this season, with some of his performances catching the eye, and others failing to impress.

West Ham fans are now divided over whether they should accept Fiorentina’s offer in the summer.

While some Hammers fans feel that David Moyes should not even consider releasing Obiang, others believe that he needs upgrading.

If Obiang does leave West Ham in the summer, he may well have played his last game for the London club.

The 25-year-old has picked up ligament damage, which could keep him up for the rest of the campaign.

Obiang has made 20 appearances for West Ham this term, scoring twice. He joined the Hammers for £4.3 million back in 2015.
