West Ham United fans react to Pablo Zabaleta display against Everton

West Ham United fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to the performance of Pablo Zabaleta against Everton.

Zabaleta featured for West Ham in their Premier League game against Everton at the London Stadium on Saturday evening.

The 34-year-old right-back started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Hammers lost 2-0.

It was one of the worst performances from the Argentine defender for the Hammers, as he failed to make any sort of impact for the London club.

Zabaleta was given a torrid time by Everton star Bernard and struggled at the back, and was responsible for the Toffees’ second goal.

According to WhoScored, the former Manchester City star took one shot, had a pass accuracy of 69.8%, and won one header, made one tackle, three interceptions and one clearance.

So far this season, the Argentine has made 21 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League, providing one assist in the process, according to WhoScored.

West Ham fans were not impressed with the display produced by the former Espanyol star and have criticised him on Twitter.
