West Ham United fans have been left gutted that they didn’t sign Jonjo Shelvey from Newcastle United, after his performance against Manchester United yesterday.
Shelvey put in a great display for Newcastle, as the Magpies picked up a 1-0 victory over United on Sunday.
The midfielder was awarded the man of the match award by Sky Sports, after he dictated the game, with his passing ability coming to the fore.
And West Ham fans are now disappointed that Shelvey wasn’t brought to the London Stadium last month.
David Moyes had wanted to bring Shelvey to West Ham, according to The Sun, but they were unable to get a deal done.
Newcastle refused to do business with West Ham, as the pair are battling against relegation with each other.
West Ham are currently in 12th place in the Premier League table, which leaves them sitting one spot ahead of Newcastle.
