Newcastle United beat West Ham United 3-2 in their last match at the weekend.

West Ham United fans have reacted angrily to Newcastle United midfielder Jonjo Shelvey’s comments.
Newcastle beat West Ham 3-2 at the weekend and, in truth, the scoreline flattered Manuel Pellegrini’s side.
West Ham were abject, as Newcastle tactically outclassed them throughout.
Steve Bruce’s side sat deep and used their pace to hurt West Ham on the counter attack.
Newcastle could have scored even more goals if they had been more clinical, and Shelvey said that Bruce drew up an excellent plan prior to the match.
“We know that Pellegrini’s teams like to play a high line. The gaffer spoke about it before,” Shelvey said to Football London.
“They (West Ham) always struggle with runners from deep and we worked on it in training and it paid off.”
The comments have angered West Ham fans, who are frustrated that Pellegrini was tactically outsmarted by Bruce.
West Ham had started the season well, but their form has dipped badly in recent weeks.
The Hammers have failed to win any of their last six matches which has put Pellegrini under pressure.
West Ham are next in action when they take on Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday.
