West Ham United picked up a huge win this evening as they thrashed Wolverhampton Wanderers 4-0 at the London Stadium.

After defeats to Newcastle United and Arsenal to open the season, West Ham needed to get their league campaign up and running this time around.

They made a strong start and scored a stunning opener, with Jarrod Bowen curling a shot into the bottom corner having cut in from the right flank.

Bowen added a second after the break, and Tomas Soucek then powered a header home though that goal appears to be going down as a Raul Jimenez own goal.

Sebastien Haller came off the bench to add a fourth, giving West Ham a much-needed victory with some style too.

The result takes West Ham up to 10th place in the Premier League table, and David Moyes will be delighted with the win as he recovers from illness.

There were a number of fine performances in the West Ham side, but striker Michail Antonio stole the show even if he didn’t get on the scoresheet.

Antonio was tireless in the West Ham attack and ran Wolves ragged, with Hammers fans branding him ‘unreal’, ‘exceptional’ and ‘unplayable’.
