Liverpool midfielder Marko Grujic continues to be linked with a move away from Anfield – and West Ham United may yet be his destination.

The Serbian was Jurgen Klopp’s first signing as Liverpool boss back in January 2016, but he has struggled for playing time since making the move to Anfield.

Grujic has only managed 16 first-team appearances for Liverpool, and spent time out on loan at Red Star Belgrade, Cardiff City and twice at Hertha Berlin.

Now 24, Grujic needs first-team action, and he seemingly isn’t going to get that at Liverpool – but it’s also hard to see a club paying big money for him right now.

Yet another loan move could instead materialise for Grujic, and the Daily Mail report that West Ham are rivalling Southampton for his signature.

West Ham are looking for a new midfielder before tonight’s deadline, and may now move for Grujic to bolster David Moyes’ squad.

Hammers fans have been taking to Twitter to react to these new rumours, believing that Grujic is ‘absolute class’ and has potential to improve.

Others believe that Grujic would add great depth to the West Ham midfield, and would definitely take him in East London if a deal can be set up.
