Diop featured for West Ham in their Premier League game against Huddersfield at the London Stadium on Saturday afternoon.
The 22-year-old central defender started the match and played for the entire 90 minutes, as the Hammers won 4-3.
The Frenchman did not have a good game and struggled at the back, and West Ham fans were not pleased.
The youngster was at fault for two of Huddersfield’s game, and the central defender has to cut out those kinds of mistakes.
According to WhoScored, against Huddersfield, Diop had a pass accuracy of 86.4%, won two headers, and made two tackles, three interceptions, two clearances and two blocks.
So far this season, Diop has made 29 appearances in the Premier League for the Hammers so far this season, scoring one goal in the process, according to WhoScored.
West Ham fans were not impressed with the performance produced by Diop against Huddersfield and have criticised the central defender on Twitter.
