West Ham United need a new striker this month, having sold Sebastien Haller to Ajax on Friday – and a whole host of players have been linked.
The Hammers allowed Haller to return to he Netherlands after failing to impress under David Moyes, but it’s imperative that a replacement is brought in soon.
Michail Antonio’s injury woes mean he can’t really be relied upon as the sole striker at West Ham, and one somewhat strange rumour has emerged.
The Sun report that David Moyes wants to sign Watford attacker Ismaila Sarr in a £30million swoop, though he is usually more of a winger.
Sarr, 22, impressed in the Premier League last season with five goals and four assists in 28 games, and has featured prominently for Watford in the Championship this term.

Sarr’s blazing speed makes him a real threat, but some West Ham fans think that another winger is the last thing West Ham need right now.
Others think that Sarr is ‘frightening’ thanks to his pace, and could be a ‘brilliant’ signing – even if Moyes converts him to play as a centre forward, just as Antonio has in recent years.
