West Ham United’s pre-season preparations were in full flow today, with two separate games going on simultaneously this afternoon.
One team headed to take on Wycombe Wanderers, and claimed a 5-1 win as Arthur Masuau, a Darius Charles own goal, Manuel Lanzini and a Jarrod Bowen brace sealed the win.
Over at Portman Road, another West Ham side took on Ipswich Town, and also recorded a thumping win, this time with a 4-1 scoreline.
Sebastien Haller stole the show with a hat-trick, whilst Tomas Soucek also got his name on the scoresheet whilst ex-Hammers talent Freddie Sears bagged against this former club.
David Moyes will be very pleased with today’s work, and one man who really excelled was winger Grady Diangana.
The 22-year-old spent last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, meaning Moyes is now running the rule over him for next season.

Diangana has been linked away from the club, with The Sun reporting that Celtic, Everton and Newcastle United are among the interested clubs.
Diangana starred today, playing a key role in all three of Haller’s goals, with fans branding him ‘quality’ and ‘better than Payet’ after a dazzling display.
Many urged the club not to let him go, and now want to see him start on the opening day of the Premier League season.
