It doesn’t look like West Ham United fans want Eliaquim Mangala, in spite of the speculation.

West Ham United fans haven’t reacted well to the rumour about Eliaquim Mangala.
Aymeric Laporte’s £57 million move to Manchester City has deemed the Frenchman surplus to requirements at the Etihad it seems.

According to Sky Sports, the latest is that Everton have joined the race and are “confident” of doing a deal.
The Irons would be unable to sign Mangala – who cost £30 million three years ago – on loan due to the fact that goalkeeper Joe Hart is already at West Ham on a temporary agreement.
It would have to be a permanent deal if it materialises and suffice to say that some fans of the East London club aren’t best pleased.

Do West Ham need a centre-back? It can’t hurt, but there are other areas in the squad which need addressing first and perhaps manager David Moyes should focus on signing a midfielder or striker.
Moyes already has Jose Fonte, Winston Reid, James Collins, Angelo Ogbonna, Reece Oxford and Declan Rice as central defensive options.
