According to The Mirror, West Ham are interested in signing former Chelsea striker Costa from Spanish club Atletico in the summer transfer window.
The 30-year-old striker has struggled during his second spell at Atletico, but the Spain international was a massive success during his time in the Premier League.
The striker won the Premier League title twice with Chelsea, and also scored 52 goals in the league for the Blues, according to WhoScored.
Costa has been off form since he returned to Atletico in 2018, but there is no doubt that he is one of the best strikers in the world he is in full swing.
The Hammers need to sign a proven goalscorer in the summer transfer window, and Costa does fit the bill.
