West Ham United have been touted as a possible destination for Chelsea’s John Terry.

Chelsea's John Terry

West Ham United fans do not appear to be particularly enthused by the possibility of John Terry moving to the London Stadium.

Terry is set to leave Chelsea at the end of the season, with his contract expiring.

And Slaven Bilic did little to play down rumours that West Ham could be interested in Terry yesterday.

When asked about if he would be keen to sign the 37-year-old centre-back, Bilic said to Sky Sports: “He definitely has got at least a couple of years left with his quality and experience and leadership.

“Whether that will be with West Ham or elsewhere I don’t know, we don’t think about that right now but I don’t think it is the end of John Terry’s career.”

Whether West Ham will make a bid for Terry remains to be seen, but it seems that the veteran defender would not be the most welcomed addition at the London Stadium.

West Ham fans are of the opinion that Bilic should be looking at younger players this summer.

Terry is said to want to stay in the Premier League, and there is sure to be interest in him.

Bournemouth are believed to be the favourites to sign Terry at the moment (Sky Sports), but they face competition for his signature.
