Batshuayi was handed an opportunity to start at Stamford Bridge yesterday, and he got on the scoresheet in a 4-3 victory for Chelsea.
West Ham fans now feel that they have missed their opportunity to sign Batshuayi, after a loan deal had been talked up.
West Ham are believed to have been tracking Batshuayi for some time (The Sun), but they have failed to complete a deal as yet.
West Ham are known to be wanting a new forward, with Slaven Bilic searching for pace to add to his front-line.
