West Ham United midfielder Mark Noble has been given the backing of Manuel Pellegrini.
West Ham United fans have had a mixed reaction to Manuel Pellegrini’s comments about Mark Noble.
Pellegrini has hinted that Noble could have a big role to play at West Ham this season.
He said: “That is why he is so important. He has so many years here and he is the captain. He is a very good player and also a very good leader. He will give everything to try to grow with this new project.”
The comments have drawn a mixed response from West Ham fans, who have very different opinions on Noble.
While some Hammers supporters are huge admirers of Noble, there are others who fail to see his value, and that difference in views was reflected in the reaction to the comments on social media website Twitter.
Noble is currently in competition with the likes of Pedro Obiang and new signing Jack Wilshere for a starting place at West Ham this season.
