West Ham United lost 3-2 against Tottenham Hotspur at White Hart Lane yesterday.
West Ham United supporters cannot understand why Slaven Bilic decided to bring on Havard Nordtveit instead of James Collins during their 3-2 defeat against Tottenham Hotspur yesterday.
West Ham were leading 2-1 as the match at White Hart Lane entered its closing stages, but as soon as Nordtveit entered the field things began to go wrong for the Hammers.
Nordtveit replaced Dimitri Payet in the 85th minute, as Bilic looked to solidify his side’s defence.

However, the change did not have the impact that Bilic desired, as Spurs mounted a late comback.
Harry Kane first finished well from close range, before Nordtveit was guilty of sliding in and giving away a penalty in injury time.

Kane converted the spot kick to give Spurs the three points, and West Ham supporters have asked questions of Bilic after the match.
Hammers fans cannot understand why Bilic turned to Nordtveit, who has struggled since signing last summer, rather than Collins, who has proven to be a reliable defender, in such a pressurised situation.
West Ham’s defeat means that they remain in 17th place in the Premier League table, and they are now only one point above the drop zone.
