West Ham United fans have been left frustrated by Jack Wilshere, after the midfielder suffered a set-back during his injury recovery.

The London Evening Standard claim that Wilshere is set to be sidelined for longer than first feared, after an unexpected complication with his injury.

Wilshere has always had a tendency to struggle for fitness throughout his career.

And West Ham supporters are frustrated that the midfielder is still showing signs of injury proneness after his move to the London Stadium.

Wilshere’s start to life at West Ham has not gone according to plan so far.

The England international is yet to really show his quality at the London Stadium, and his injury is not exactly helping him win over any doubters.

Wilshere now faces a fight to win his place back in West Ham’s midfield when he does return to fitness.

Declan Rice, Pedro Obiang and Mark Noble have formed a good midfielder partnership in recent weeks, and Wilshere could well find himself a reserve option when he does make it off the treatment table.
