West Ham United boss David Moyes reportedly wants to bring in the Stoke City pair.

West Ham United fans appear divided over whether they should sign Joe Allen and Jack Butland from Stoke City.
The Mail on Sunday (p79) claim that Allen and Butland are being targeted by West Ham in a £40 million double-swoop.

With Stoke looking set for the drop, West Ham are keen to take advantage.
But some West Ham fans fear that the deal would not represent value for money.
If West Ham were to buy both Butland and Allen a sizeable chunk of their budget would be used up.
And although there are some Hammers fans who would welcome the duo, others are less keen on the deal.
Butland and Allen have been two of Stoke’s better performers this season, and are sure to be in-demand in the summer transfer window.
West Ham are likely to be interested in snapping up both a goalkeeper and a midfielder at the end of the season, as David Moyes looks to improve his squad.
