West Ham United picked up a second draw in a row as they were held to a 0-0 stalemate by Everton on Saturday afternoon.
A week after being pegged back twice in a 2-2 draw with Sunderland, the Hammers were back in action at the London Stadium, taking on Ronald Koeman’s Everton.
In a tight affair in East London, the two sides played out a 0-0 draw, with West Ham having the better of the game against a below-par Toffees side.
Whilst there were no goals on show, a number of players impressed for West Ham, with Arthur Masuaku, James Collins and Jose Fonte earning praise.
However, many fans took to Twitter after the final whistle to praise midfielder Havard Nordtveit, who was handed a rare start by Slaven Bilic.

The Norwegian, who joined West Ham on a free transfer from Borussia Monchengladbach last summer, had started just eight Premier League games before being named in the line-up to fave Everton – and he took his chance.
Nordtveit had previously been criticised for his performances at right back, but many felt that he impressed in his natural holding midfield role against Everton, with some naming him as the man of the match.
Nordtveit’s performance was labelled ‘unbelievable’ and ‘superb’, with fans pleased to see him impress in his natural position, as some even admitted that they may have been wrong about the former Arsenal youngster.
